  Roper Technologies is looking for a tech-savvy, curious and collaborative HR professional to join our team. The ideal candidate musthave 4+ years of Master Admin-level HRIS/payroll experience (UKG Pro required) and is eager to learn, provide innovative ideas, and broaden their experience across all areas of HRIS, payroll and benefits. This person is comfortable (and wants to) wear multiple hats, has a strong sense of ownership, and is passionate about being a key player in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  
  What you'll be doing:
  
  
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS/Payroll and help our operating decentralized companies resolve challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide best practices
    
  • Work with the HRIS/Payroll Manager to maintain and continuously improve the performance of our HRIS systems (all modules of UKG)
    
  • Support the development and maintenance of all elements related to UKG modules, including the configuration of tax codes, work locations, jobs, org levels, GL mapping, etc. for our operating companies
    
  • Assist with the implementation and configuration of payroll and UTA (Time & Attendance module) during acquisitions
    
  • Create, update and present training webinars, job aids and communications
    
  • Process the semi-monthly corporate office payroll (approx. 75 employees) in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures as well as federal and state regulations
    
  • Process equity transactions through payroll, including stock exercises and lapses
    
  • Manage state and local tax registrations for new jurisdictions at HQ
    
  • Reconcile payrolls, quarterly filings and W-2s
    
  • Respond to employment verification requests for HQ employees
    
  • Additional duties as assigned
    
    What we're looking for in the ideal candidate:
    
    
    • Ability to analyze and resolve payroll/HRIS related issues, expediently and efficiently
      
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to professionally communicate and coordinate with a wide range of internal and external customers

      Qualifications:
      
      
      • 4+ years combination of Admin-level HRIS configuration and payroll experience (UKG Pro required)
        
      • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
        
      • PHR, FPC, SHRM-CP, or CPP preferred
        
      • Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ACA, state and federal wage-hour laws
        
        Benefits:
        
        If local to HQ, this position is hybrid for the foreseeable future. It's preferred that the candidate be located in Sarasota, FL or Atlanta, GA metro area, but will consider remote candidates.
        
        The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience and certifications.
