SARASOTA TOYOTA IS HIRING If you are an Automotive Accounting professional, we'd like to meet you! We are growing and looking to add to our Accounting Office. The right individuals will possess a positive, upbeat demeanor and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, team environment. We have full-time positions available, approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Multiple positions are available. Room for growth and advancement!Responsibilities for various opportunities may include the following:Reconcile and post daily Sales, Parts and Service deposit to the general ledger; stock in New and Used vehicle inventory; perform journal entries pertaining to Dealer Trades or Wholesale billing; warranty cancellations and statement reconciliationProcess New and Used title work for DMV, to include Out of State transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness; post journal entries pertaining to DMV charges and tag refunds; maintain title records and MSOsPost New and Used deals to accounting with accuracy; process lien payoffs and we owes; maintain and reconcile sales commission spreadsheets; submit aftermarket products to 3rd party vendorsMaintain and review accounting schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basisHandle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assignedMeet deadlines and assist with month-end closeAssist with accounts receivable/payable and special projects, as necessaryAccounting Office Requirements:Automotive dealership accounting experience is strongly preferred, but willing to train the right candidateFamiliarity with CDK is a plus, but not requiredProfessional and positive demeanor with a "team" mentalityFlexible and able to multi-task while meeting deadlinesEffective communication skillsComputer literateFast learner with the willingness and desire to growBenefits:Great hourly payFun, positive and respectful work environmentFull Benefits Package available including medical, dental, vision and life insurance401(k) also availablePaid vacationFMLA extended to employees satisfying federal requirementsSubstantial employee discounts available on new vehicle purchases, all vehicle service and partsEqual opportunity employer All applicants must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and drug screening, in order to qualify for employment
