Duties:Reconcile project from beginning to endCreate and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reportingMonitor unit cost variablesMaintain cost accounting system and cost ledgerProvide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data to upper managementPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsSupervise employees ensuring completion of operational requirements and maintain follow up on work resultsProtect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialSkills/Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in accounting and 5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations and reviewIntermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP) data manipulation requiredJob costing experience preferredFederal contracting experience a plusHighly motivated, energetic and professionally assertiveExcellent communication, negotiating, analytical and problem solving skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal SkillsExcellent exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skillsStrong personnel management skillsTravel flexibilityPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
