• Corporate eventsJob DetailsOur company is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Actuary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating data to develop insurance policies and pricing strategies. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate data to develop pricing strategies for insurance policies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the insurance industry.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models to predict mortality, morbidity, and other risk factors.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop new insurance products.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing insurance products to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Mentor and train junior actuarial staff.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
    • ACAS or FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
    • 3+ years of experience in life insurance or related field.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and Excel.
    • Experience with market research and pricing strategies.
    • Knowledge of mortality and morbidity modeling.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
