ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide
essential support services within multiple elementary school
settings in the Fort Myers, FL area. This full-time, contract
position operates on-site only and involves working closely with
students to assist in their speech and language development.
Location: - Multiple school sites in Fort Myers, FL, including
Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days per week) and Mirror Lakes
Elementary (1 day per week). Key Responsibilities: - Manage a
caseload of approximately 50-55 students, primarily elementary-aged
children. - Support speech-language pathologists in delivering
effective therapy sessions. - Implement treatment plans under
supervision and document student progress. - Collaborate with
educational staff and families to maximize student outcomes. -
Maintain compliance with all relevant school and licensing
regulations. Required Qualifications: - Active Florida Department
of Health SLPA license. - Completion of fingerprinting requirements
through the AHCA Clearinghouse or valid JLA badge status. - Prior
school experience preferred but not mandatory. - Strong
communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work on-site
with students from diverse backgrounds. Position Details: - Start
date: As soon as possible, continuing through June 1, 2026. -
Hours: Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week. - Contract role
