Circuit Boards (2nd Shift) Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00
AM A well-established electronics manufacturing company is seeking
an experienced Touch-Up Operator to join its 2nd shift production
team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in printed
circuit board (PCB) assembly and repair, particularly in surface
mount technology (SMT), with a focus on quality and precision. Key
Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspection, touch-up, and repair
of PCBs under a microscope. Verify part placement and orientation;
manually align components prior to soldering. Conduct post-reflow
inspection and correct any soldering defects. Identify and resolve
common SMT issues such as poor wetting, solder bridges, voids,
misalignment, tombstoning, and other soldering anomalies. Interpret
complex assembly drawings and follow work instructions accurately.
Utilize computer-based systems for task tracking and documentation.
Mandatory Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience
with SMT PCB touch-up and soldering. Proficient in fine-pitch
soldering and rework under a microscope. Familiar with and able to
work to IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 standards (certification
preferred). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment. Ability to sit for extended periods and focus on
detailed, repetitive tasks. Basic computer literacy and familiarity
with Windows-based programs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience
in a LEAN manufacturing environment. Leadership, mentoring, or
training experience is a plus. Additional Requirements: Must be
able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
