Our client is one of the country's largest privately held real estate companies. The firm owns and manages over 700 properties encompassing over 40 million square feet in 38 states. This diverse portfolio includes retail, office, industrial, hotel, residential, and land assets.-- The Senior General Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of a portfolio of centrally located high-profile lifestyle and power center properties with a goal to protect and enhance the assets by maintaining a high level of quality and customer service. The selected candidate will be a collaborative team player who wants to learn, welcomes a challenge, and is confident in their decision-making ability. Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple high-profile, well-positioned retail properties to a "best-in-class" standard.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing
• Respond to tenant and shopping center customer inquiries and suggestions.
• Assist in managing fiscal activities of the property including development and adherence to the budget.
• Resolve maintenance issues, develop preventative maintenance plans, administer property improvements, and oversee existing external property
• Respond 24 hours, 7 days per week to any tenant issue or property
• Prepare the annual budget of each assigned asset and provide, at least, a semi-annual
• Participate in and lead regular asset management calls with
• Inspect properties on a regular basis to identify and correct all external property
• Develop operations programs that contribute to the overall profitability, safety, and productivity of the property.
• Develop relationships with fellow coworkers and tenants.
• Evaluate property needs and recommend improvements as required. Execute approved projects in a timely manner - ensuring scope, accuracy, and compliance. Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in managing lifestyle and/or high-profile power centers.
  • Strong negotiating skills and a solid understanding of cost and value.
  • Creative abilities; able to think "outside the box".
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and Outlook); MRI experience preferred.
