POSITION TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER – ST PETERSBURG - BRADENTON FL–
SARASOTA FL
FUNCTION: The Project Manager is the primary point-of-contact
for the client in planning and delivering the service solution,
working to ensure a timely and quality implementation. Use project
management tools to track, manage and communicate progress on all
projects. Responsible for maintaining client satisfaction
during the relationship and success relies heavily on the Project
Manager’s ability to communicate, set, and maintain clear
expectations with everyone involved. The Project Manager needs to
have a competent understanding of all aspects of planning and
delivering, including contracts, finance, support, system
architecture and development, current technologies, the client
industry, and the Company products.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience is
preferred
- Three years experience training and consulting in a services
environment is preferred, metal processing, welding construction
products
- Three years strategic planning experience is preferred
- Five years project management experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fabulous
customer service acumen
DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct post-sale scope call to initiate resource
planning
- Work directly with customer regarding changes to the project
scope, assessment of possible constraints and identification of new
service opportunities
- Coordinate the interaction with internal departments in the
areas to ensure commitments and smooth project completion.
- Facilitate necessary internal and external meetings and prepare
necessary status reports to ensure project tasks are being
completed in a timely fashion
- Prepares, maintains, and submits management reports (progress
reports, time recording, escalations)
- Identify new business opportunities with the ability to
understand the general capabilities and limitation in a customer's
current environment
- Manage cost of each service project by tracking hours of effort
delivered versus quote and alerts customers of necessary additional
fees
- Ensure invoices are accurately processed through the accounting
system
- Ensure the quality of each service project and develop and
cultivate strong customer relationships
- Provide first level of escalation for customer issues and
escalate issues to the second level as necessary
- Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best
practices
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
