Summary-Role and ResponsibilitiesThe AVS Associate Project
Manager works with the AVS Operations Group Leader to coordinate
and plan AVS Installation services. The AVS Associate Project
Manager must possess a high level of technical knowledge as well as
a strong understanding of AVS products and how they function. The
AVS Associate Project Manager will receive incoming sales orders,
coordinate pre-installation requirements with customers, gather
needed information from the AVS sales team, work with customer
service master scheduler for installation dates. The AVS Associate
Project Manager will assist the AVS Support engineer supporting
on-site installations as needed and as requested by AVS Support
Engineer. The AVS Associate Project Manager must possess strong
customer communication skills, the ability to work with various
groups across many different organizational levels, an
understanding of construction projects, and the ability to manage
multiple projects at the same time.Responsibilities-
- Maintain the AVS active projects portfolio
- Coordinate between the AVS installation team, customer, and
contractors
- Coordinate with the Sales team to maintain a smooth transition
from pre-sales to installation
- Pro-actively monitor the installation process to manage
customer satisfaction
- Define and maintain installation processes
- Take ownership of technical issues during the project and work
with customer support to resolve when necessary
- Resolve project work/scheduling problems by prioritizing
activities
- Evaluate potential project risk and develop mitigation
plan
- Ability to analyze problems and offer alternate solutions
- Creates value-added and consistent maintenance approaches (e.g.
root cause analysis) to proactively reduce problems for
end-users
- Shows understanding of the processes needed to customize
solutions that meet multiple end-user/technical requirements
- Good team player and must be able to work with other
departments within the company to reach common goals.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment where all

- Works respectfully in multicultural environmentsRequirements-
- College degree in Computer Sciences and/or 4-5 years equivalent
experience in Project Management or Audiovisual Implementation
- Live in the continental US, will work remotely
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- Work effectively in a virtual and remote environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to professionally
follow up, move forward/advance, and close projects
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it
pertains to the position.
- Organized individual with the ability to manage vast and varied
projects.
- Excellent listening, presentation and communications
skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills, attention to detail, and a
strong team based attitude
- Strong analytical skills and high initiative
- Solid track record of working in teams and meeting
deadlines
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Proficient with office technology and Microsoft
Office.Preferred-
- Prior experience with CAE LearningSpace or similar Healthcare
Simulation Center Management solution.
- Prior experience with installing and/or using integrated
Audio-Visual systems
- Experience utilizing a major client relationship management
system ie;Salesforce
- Experience working with general contractors on various types of
construction and remodeling projects
- Experience reading and understanding construction drawings and
Audio-Visual system diagram drawingsGENERAL-
- Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules,
regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever
representing CAE Healthcare (i.e., program site, trade show,
etc.).
- Perform all duties in compliance with, and enforce legal and
ethical standards including: CAE's Code of Business Conduct, CAE's
policies and procedures, country laws and regulations, Federal and
States or Provincial Laws, policies and standards.
- Maintain security of all proprietary information.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity
dictates.Physical Requirements-
- Ability to lift or push weight up to 50 pounds
(simulators).
