POSITION PURPOSE:The Circle of Boating Manager is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina with the primary focus on the Boat Club and Rental fleet operation. The Circle of Boating Manager projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. The Circle of Boating Manager works collaboratively with the departments at the Marina, the Circle of Boating Department at the Home Office, other colleagues within the organization as well as vendors, members and guests external to the organizationHe/She is an excellent leader and provides the highest level of customer service in a friendly, helpful manner while accurately responding to the Members/customers needs. Projects a professional company image through all interactions. As this is a fast pace environment, must be able to work as a team member and independently under pressure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Boat Club and Rental Fleet Management and maintenance including, but not limited to bi- weekly reporting of fleet
• Ensures daily routine and cleaning SOP's are followed including "all boats home"
• Maintenance of schedule and boat information in Stellar Software
• Rental management to maximize usage
• Ensure boats are prepped and ready for member usage prior to arrival
• Work with the GM and other supervisors to ensure that there is adequate coverage and support to perform cleaning and maintenance of the fleet
• Conduct in-person property tours to prospective club members, as requested
• On weekly basis, lead new member orientation (including safety check rides and briefings)
• Assist in promoting boat club as requested
• Utilize available COB software to share leads with the Regional Sales Managers in a timely manner
• May conduct a walk-in sale to a potential Boat Club Customer
• Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to finalize the sales process and teach new club members how to operate our boat club software program (as needed)
• Receive and deploy in a timely fashion, all weekly guidance from Corporate Office COB Team
• Ensure accurate and current membership lists
• Provides the highest level of customer and guests services
• Ensure property controls to safeguard assets including but not limited to equipment and inventory
• Ensure that all company equipment is secure prior to leaving
• Ensure adherence to all Suntex policies, procedures and practices
• Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgment, and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals. Assists with a number of projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of customers. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: --- Bachelor's Degree preferred --- Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills --- Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity --- Previous Marina and/or Membership Club Experience, preferred --- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. --- Ability to organize and prioritize work. --- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals. --- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers. --- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment. --- Self-starter. --- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal flotation device
• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
• Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
• Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
