Job SummaryThe Dual Property Sales Manager is responsible for the maintenance and growth of current client relationships and all new account sourcing for the Homewood Suites by Hilton Sarasota and The Marriott TownePlace Suites. The Sales Manager will focus on building and strengthening client relationships and networks in both markets for both properties. Focus Segments for this role are Corporate Business Travel and Group travel, weekend Leisure Group (SMERFE). Extended Stay Experience is ideal for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains positive and professional staff and client relationships
  • Presents the hotels in an appealing way to prospective clients by telling intriguing stories and describing available opportunities
  • Identify and execute various strategies to increase the hotel's client base and top line revenue
  • Conducts Proactive sales call activities and meets weekly goals
  • Maintains current knowledge related to competition and market conditions and effectively applies strategies to increase business
  • Responds to all potential leads and inquiries in a timely manner and tailors' responses to customers' needs
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of business deals with all groups and customers
  • Documents all sales activities and booking in accordance with expected standards
  • Provides potential clients with property site tours
  • Participates in local hospitality and community networking events
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
    Qualifications
    • College degree or the equivalent in related work experience
    • Previous experience with outside sales Industry related a must
    • Extended Stay Sales Strategy and knowledge is preferred
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
    • Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
    • Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
