Location: Sarasota, FL with hybrid flexibility after initial training (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). The position may require occasional travel to other locations and on-call availability for critical incidents.MaxHealth is seeking a highly skilled Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations, which will be instrumental in shaping and executing our technology strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of IT and as a key member of the IT Leadership team, this position will oversee the delivery of reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to drive innovation and operational excellence in our IT infrastructure and operations.Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the IT infrastructure and operations team, responsible for engineering, design, planning, installation, and upgrades of enterprise-wide IT systems. Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure, cloud services, and operational efficiency.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions. Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, including migration, optimization, and security. Ensure seamless integration of Azure services with existing IT infrastructure.
• Data Center Migrations: Oversee and drive data center migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Manage all aspects of the migration process, from planning to execution.
• Cybersecurity: Contribute to the company's cybersecurity program by assessing risks, defining mitigation plans, and overseeing cybersecurity monitoring and incident response activities.
• Technology Road mapping: Maintain and evolve a technology roadmap that identifies opportunities for innovation and aligns technology use with business needs.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal value and service levels. Oversee vendor performance and contract compliance.
• ITIL and ITSM Best Practices: Implement and refine ITIL frameworks and ITSM processes to enhance service delivery, incident management, and change management across the IT organization.
• Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns IT infrastructure with business goals. Ensure that IT solutions are scalable, reliable, and integrated effectively across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, systems administrators, and support analysts. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and cost of IT services. Identify and implement opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to provide updates on IT infrastructure performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.Job Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Enterprise IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role. Experience managing a team and overseeing complex Enterprise projects required.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure, data center migrations, ITIL process framework, and enterprise IT operations. Familiarity with security technologies, network architecture, and enterprise storage solutions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, VCP, MCSE, or similar are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years managing a team of direct reports is required.
