Reporting directly to the Director of Total Rewards, the HR Manager conducts analysis and interprets data towards developing and maintaining a successful Total Rewards strategy. Total Rewards is a culmination of all offerings that provide value to employees, including compensation and benefits. The HR Manager helps design and deliver the programs and strategies that first attracts talented candidates, and then promotes motivated and engaged employees to contribute their time, talent and effort towards supporting and growing the Boar's Head Brand.Essential FunctionsIn collaboration with other, leads the development and maintenance of the organization's Total Reward strategy and policies across all functions, assuring internal and external competitivenessEvaluates jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions.Contributes organizational data to, and analyzes results of, compensation surveysConducts market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the pay programsLeads administration of annual performance management, incentive, and merit increase programsConducts research and analysis of industry trends, employee surveys and workplace best practices in order to design benefit packages that are competitive, meet employee needs, and support organizational goalsReviews cost and usage rates of existing benefit programs to assess actual and perceived valueInteracts with external vendors and consultants in both compensation and benefits to ensure company is positioned competitively and stays current on trends and changes in the marketAssists in benefits communications and open enrollmentAssists with the completion of benefit audits, including new hire enrollments, open enrollment, 1095-C, and 401(k) open enrollmentHave a working knowledge of employment law as it relates to FMLA, EEOC, ADA, I-9 compliance and employment verificationManages weekly benefits billing and coordinate with Finance to ensure deadlines are metManages design and administration of various company programs and initiatives, including Wellness and Rewards & RecognitionAbility to interpret policy to address questions from employeesPrepares correspondence and reports for management as necessary; employee rosters, stop loss reimbursements, compensation benchmarking dataAbility to perform other HR related functions as requested, including HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, etc.Performs other duties as assigned Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics5 to 7 years experience serving in a role requiring critical or analytical thinkingDemonstrated experience with gained trust and respect working with senior leadership and external consultants on confidential mattersDemonstrated ability to effectively lead people and get results through othersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point
