Description: Statement of Purpose: The Facilities Manager position
is responsible for ensuring that all CAN Community Health Inc.s
properties meet the needs of the employees who work there and
patients that seek our services. The Facilities Manager is
accountable for services provided by inhouse staff as well as
outside suppliers and vendors to make sure buildings, grounds, and
equipment are in operational order to maintain a secure, safe and
comfortable working environment. Primary Tasks: 1. Oversee and
prioritize the day to day maintenance and oversight of all CAN
Community Health, Inc.s facilities interior and exterior. 2.
Schedule routine and regular preventative maintenance of company
assets. 3. Inspect buildings structures to determine the need for
repair and renovations. 4. Keep accurate records of current space
conditions including roof, HVAC, utilities and any special
circumstances. 5. Oversee that all grounds are properly cared for
and landscaped. Maintain service contracts for all landscape
services. 6. Provide prompt, detailed and accurate reports on all
properties assigned. 7. Engage, negotiate, contract, supervise and
approve invoices for all goods/services required to maintain the
properties up to company standards. 8. Monitor all building
security 9. Contract all cleaning providers and for waste disposal.
10. Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors. 11.
Develop a network of emergency services and be available 24-hours,
7-days/week for all emergency calls. 12. Forecast and manage
replacement of major capital expense items including HVAC system,
roof system, parking lot surfaces, etc. 13. Schedule all medical
equipment inspections, fire alarm certifications, and generator
services and testing as required. 14. Establish, develop, negotiate
and maintain service contracts for building infrastructure and
systems. 15. Develop maintenance budgets for all facilities.
Perform analysis, forecasting and budgeting. 16. Establish and
maintain collaborative working relationships between departments
and coworkers. 17. Comply with all OSHA and safety regulations and
maintain clean and orderly work areas. 18. Keep abreast of new
technologies, systems and procedures related to maintenance and
property management. 19. Promotes and practices CAN Community
Health, Inc.s mission and values, and follows its policies and
procedures. Responsible To: Director of Facilities, Design &
Construction . Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required: 1. Knowledge of interior and exterior building
maintenance and staying in touch of latest industry trends. 2.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC
systems. 3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 4.
Demonstrated oral and written communication, organizational,
negotiation, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, ability to
work under pressure to meet deadlines. 5. Able to work with minimal
direct supervision. 6. Supervisory Skills 7. Strong interpersonal
skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse
population. 8. Ethical Conduct Education/Professional: o BS/BA
Degree in Facility Management, or relevant field preferred o 3
years of experience in multi-site facility management. Physical
Requirements: 1. Neat professional appearance 2. Requires sitting
for extended periods of time. 3. Requires repeated walking,
bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing,
reaching and lifting up to 50lbs. 4. Work is regularly performed in
a combination of office and shop environment and is regularly
exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. 5. Talk and hear 6.
Valid drivers license and ability to operate a motor vehicle. 7.
