Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC) is a non-profit organization whose
mission is to to promote spay/neuter as a means to end shelter
overcrowding and senseless euthanasia, ultimately saving animals
for the benefit of humanity. We pride ourselves on providing
quality patient care, with our well-trained technician staff, who
are proficient in surgical and anesthesia monitoring. ARC is
seeking a part-time (about 20 hours/week) veterinarian with a
passion for serving patients who are in need of our high-quality,
low-cost services. Experience is a bonus, but not necessary. The
ideal candidate would have a willingness to be trained and mentored
in high volume spay/neuter surgery, but would be primarily focused
on providing general wellness.
The Associate Veterinarian will typically work three, six to eight
hour workdays, performing spay/neuter surgeries on Fridays and
dedicating the remaining two days to administering vaccines and
wellness to patients - we have flexibility of which days wellness
appointments are scheduled. The candidate should be able to
accommodate occasional schedule changes and/or the need to extend
the workday to ensure the successful completion of surgeries.
Weekend shifts will be very minimal. This is a staff position - not
ARC utilizes ClinicHQ Patient Flow software, and familiarity with
ClinicHQ, and/or propensity for new software is preferred. He or
she must be able to communicate with staff and patients in a
professional and courteous manner at all times, and work
cooperatively with the direction of ARC's Medical Director. The
Associate Veterinarian is also expected to be a leader in emergency

consistent with the organization's mission, policies and goals.
ARC operates with a high level of efficiency and quality, with a
clinic flow reflective of the Human Alliance model for high volume
spay/neuter clinics. The Associate Veterinarian must be able to
work in this environment and appropriately manage any resulting
