Job Description:
Quality Clinicians is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for
a travel nursing job in Sarasota, Florida.Job Description &
Requirements
Accepts first time travelers with skilled home care experience
Any solid color scrub
Skilled home care experience- Will not accept Private Duty nursing
experience only
BCLS cert required
IV skills and wound care skills required
General Medical Dx
High risk Dx: HF, COPD, Mi, Pneumonia, Stroke
Post op care
Must have recent patient care experience in last 3 months. Up to
dates skills: cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, ABI
compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx /Aseptdrain care,
foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, use of
glucometer, use of pro-time machine, SQ/IM injections, lab draw
venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or Midline care and dressing
change, SQ port access/deaccess
Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Commercial
ins.)
Home skilled visits - 6-8 per day
Day/Shift hours can vary to the needs of the HomeCare office:
Mon - Fri 8a to 5p
Mon - Fri 9a to 6p
Thurs- Mon or Fri to Tues shifts
Alternating weekend shifts
Laptop, MiFi for internet access, Portable printers
BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet documentation
system
Varied weekends required
Must have home health experience nurses with OASIS training and
experience.
Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file.
Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask
wearing at all times while at work.
10 hour shifts possible for 4 days per week Thurs.-Mon.

must live at least 100 miles from the facility they are applying
for. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they are not
qualified.-- The rule applies for all BayCare facilities.Local
Rules see 100-mile radius rule, certain allied specialties
exemptCandidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate
hospitals near by-- Travelers may float within hospital.Specific
Charting Exp. Required-- Cerner Charting experience required.Return
Staff Policy-Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before
returning to any Baycare facility as a traveler.SMOKE FREE
FACILITYCompliance Docs due two Fridays before the Monday start (10
days before start)Modules:--4-6 hours of modules are included in
BRPass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts)Quality Clinicians Job ID

week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be
