Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospital A/R Collector (High
Dollar).
Key Responsibilities
Resolve outstanding surgical claims to maximize reimbursement
Manage daily work queue prioritizing high dollar claim balances and
follow up on unpaid/underpaid/denied claims
Review insurance payments for accuracy and submit appeals with
necessary medical documentation
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience with third-party payers or hospital
clerical experience preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and claims processing
Experience with systems such as Cerner, nThrive, or Meditech
preferred
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and
Outlook
High school graduate or equivalent
