Locums - Fort Myers, Florida, Cardiothoracic Surgery OpeningClinical Role:

• 4/14/25 - 8/31/25
• Inpatient coverage M-F, Rotating weekends
• Inpatient - M-F 7a-5p, Sat-Sun 7a-5p based on census
• Cardiothoracic Surgery team is looking to hire a potentially long-term locum
• This position will work collaboratively with our team of cardiothoracic surgeons
• We currently have 2 tenured and 1 recent grad cardiothoracic surgeons
• Our surgeons currently perform approximately 1500 cases each year
• Our practice is the only cardiothoracic surgery team in the county and is based at one of 4 acute care facilities
• The Cardiothoracic Surgery team is supported by a team of Surgical Physician Assistants, Open Heart - ICU APRN's and office based APRN
• Surgery Requirements: All aspects of Cardiac, Aortic and Lung surgery with the exception of esophageal
• Call Coverage: Every 4th weekend & rotating weeknight call coverage - onsite
