Seeking a Float Nurse for a progressive care unit. Two years of
experience in progressive care required. Emergency department
experience is not required. The nurse will float to various units
and sister campuses as needed. Patient-to-nurse ratio is between
4-6:1, depending on patient mix. Experience with adult and
geriatric populations is essential. Nurses must adhere to uniform
requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
(NIHSS) certifications are required. Experience with electronic
medical records, specifically Epic, is preferred. Flexibility is
crucial as travelers will be expected to adapt to different units.
