Job Description:
As we expand our GME Programs within Lee Health, we are seeking
Internal Medicine Faculty Physicians to join our Internal
Medicine/Transitional Year Graduate Medicine Education at Lee
Health to join our team! This role involves providing clinical
patient care and mentoring residents, while also serving as an
expert competency evaluator. The Faculty Physician will work
closely with the Program Director and Associate Program Director to
develop and implement the resident evaluation system. By
exemplifying professionalism and a commitment to safe, quality, and
cost-effective patient-centered care, this position will play a
crucial part in shaping the future of our residency program.
Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained
Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or M.D. (Doctor of
Medicine) Required or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
Required Additional Requirements State of Florida Licensure
Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Medical Doctor DO
Required Required or Current active and unrestricted license to
practice medicine or osteopathic medicine as applicable, in the
State of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to employment start)
Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations
Required/ Preferred and/or Other Requirements Must meet all of the
requirements for core faculty members set forth in the
Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal
Medicine Prefer educational and administrative experience BE or BC
in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in Active standing BLS,
ACLS Required from the American Heart Association US:FL: Fort
Myers
