Job Description:
Lee Health is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Educator
specialized in Emergency Services to join our dynamic team. This
role involves developing and leading training programs to enhance
the clinical skills and knowledge of our nursing staff within the
emergency departments across our health system. The educator will
be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement
and excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a
deep understanding of emergency care best practices and adult
learning principles to effectively engage and uplift our staff's
capabilities. Assess educational needs and skill gaps of the
nursing staff in emergency departments. Develop and deliver
impactful training sessions, workshops, and simulations tailored to
the requirements of emergency healthcare settings. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to update curriculum and teaching
materials based on the latest evidence-based practices. Evaluate
the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven
adjustments. Provide support and mentoring to new nurses and staff,
ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with health
regulations. Stay abreast of advancements in emergency medical
techniques and education methodologies. Strong knowledge of
emergency room processes and procedures. Ability to teach and
mentor effectively within a clinical setting. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in handling
medical education technology and simulation tools. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid RN license in the state of Florida. Certified Emergency Nurse
(CEN) or Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification highly preferred.
BLS/ACLS Instructor Certification.
