Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our
team of healthcare professionals. We are a leader in integrated
healthcare services, providing both facility-based and home-based
patient care throughout the United States. Our organization focuses
on delivering superior, cost-effective healthcare services. In this
role, the Dietitian will be responsible for developing nutritional
plans, supporting patient dietary needs, and conducting nutritional
assessments in coordination with other medical professionals. This
position requires an individual who can apply a deep understanding
of nutritional science to help our diverse patient population
achieve better health outcomes. Assess nutritional needs, diet
restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement
dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Advise
patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary
plans, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine
nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients. Monitor
patient progress and adjust their dietary plans as needed. Document
patient care services by charting in patient and department
records. Educate and advise both patients and healthcare staff on
nutritional matters. Participate in research studies related to
diet and nutrition. Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create
tailored diet plans based on medical needs. Proficient in dietary
assessment tools and software. Capable of educating various
audiences about nutrition and diet. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
Licensed Dietitian status as per state laws where applicable.
