Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise is needed to support surgical services in North Fort Myers, FL. This opportunity involves working with both adult and pediatric patient populations across diverse specialties including ENT, general surgery, vascular, endovascular, robotics, dental, gynecology, orthopedics, spine, and neurosurgery. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain knowledge and compliance with hospital protocols and nursing standards. Adapt to floating assignments, including potential coverage of sister campuses within a 50-mile radius. Document and communicate patient information accurately in the Epic electronic medical records system. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of Operating Room experience. Pediatric surgical nursing experience is required. BLS certification required; CNOR credential preferred. Experience working with Epic EMR highly valued. Prior travel nursing experience is strongly preferred. Degree accreditation must be verifiable on your profile or a minimum of 5 years nursing experience. Ability to flexibly float between units and campuses as needed. Schedule: 10-hour day shifts with variable start times between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Call duty required; no block scheduling. Contract position with firm start date; document submission required prior to start.
