Job Description:
Job Brief: Working in a licensed Group Home Responsibilities:
Position is in a Residential Group Home program that provides
Medicaid Waiver regulated services for Adults with Developmental
Disabilities. Dispense client medications and record same. Take
record training data on all resident programs. Participates in
shopping for community residence clients. Participates in
housekeeping, lawn maintenance, and meal preparation. Participates
in complete bathing, brushing teeth, and other hands on assistance
as required. Serves as advocate for residents. Skills Required: A
valid Florida driver’s license and dependable transportation is
required. Must be able to pass a level II background screening.
Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and HIV/Aids; or able to be
trained and certified in same. Benefit package and health/dental
insurance for fulltime positions. Must be at least 18 years of age,
have a high school diploma or GED, and one year experience direct
working experience in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or child care
setting, or in working with persons who have a developmental
disability. College, vocational or technical training can
substitute for the required experience.
