ARTISAN CHEESE COMPANY, in the Rosemary DistrictDaytime hours. And we are a vaccinated staff and would like you to be the same.Were a specialty cheese shop in Sarasota, with a strong culinary component, open since 2011. We push out an amazing scratch cooked lunch Monday Saturday, as well as a program of grab and go meals (soups, pies, etc). Our menu has a cheese focus and is made in-house. We source many of our ingredients from neighborhood farms, and if we need a soup stock, we make it. We host occasional pop up dinners, and an occasional dinner series.We are women owned and operated, and love what we do. We're looking for someone to be part of a professional, supportive and dynamic team that is building something exciting in the heart of the Rosemary District.   • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:*ServSafe Certification preferredValid drivers licenseBackground checkA culinary degree preferred
    • Compensation: commensurate with skill and experience
    • Physical Demands:*Able to -lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.Stand up to 8 hours per dayWork in a fast paced environmentA minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.A strong desire to run a team, and have experience leading.Experience with inventory and ordering.An ability to work the line, expedite, and maintain service.You will be part of a strong team of dedicated people who love what they do. Are you the right fit? Someone who is organized, nimble, has an ability to shift gears, be clean and be self motivated, and a gentle leader. You should not scoff at the idea of doing your own dishes and helping out in other areas of the shop.We are a team. A can-do attitude is a must. We offer a safe and respectful environment.
