Required to travel 50% of time to Protective Packaging Plants in US. Position PurposeLead and direct the Human Resource functions for Protective Packaging Manufacturing. Work closely with the VP Operations of this group to ensure Human Resources is aligned with the business requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to HR Managers at the Protective Packaging manufacturing sites.Principle Accountabilities--- Provide leadership and guidance to HR Managers and Protective Packaging manufacturing site management team to execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy as it relates to attracting, developing, and retaining high performing employees focused on results.--- Lead performance management, training and development, and other HR related initiatives to support Protective Packaging Manufacturing.--- Recommends and directs the installation of programs and policies that create or reinforce a positive employee relations atmosphere.--- Promote a positive work environment and people-focused programs and processes that foster continuous development and support of a union-free workforce.--- Implement and/or maintain human resource programs that are aligned with the Company's philosophy, objectives and legal compliance in areas such as hourly compensation, benefits administration, leave compliance and administration, disciplinary matters and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, morale, training, and development.--- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to ensure compliance.--- Other job-related duties as assigned.Essential Skills and Experience--- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience in Manufacturing environment required. Master's degree with 5 years related experience preferred.--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.--- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.--- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.--- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.--- Ability to prioritize tasks.--- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.--- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.--- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
