As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at a residential location. You will be responsible for monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location. Monitor and control access to the property, verifying the identity of residents, guests, and vendors to help maintain a secure environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following the protocols established by Allied Universal and the site. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual observations. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, access control activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, staff, and emergency responders as necessary. Support emergency response activities and provide assistance as directed during any incidents or alarms at the location. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
