Billing & Invoicing Specialist Are you looking for a position where you can grow and develop your accounting skills? Are you detailed oriented by nature? You must be extremely detail oriented, eager to learn new technologies, and open to changing processes. You will be working within a growing accounting team, creating invoices and running daily reports. We offer an environment of on the job cross training and fun culture perks. In the office, attendance is an essential function of this position. Your Role: * Work in a team environment to produce accurate timely and complete monthly recurring billings * Act with a sense of urgency and professionalism to internal and external inquiries via email and phone * Create, correct, and distribute invoices * Verify Customer Payment Terms * Appropriately monitor invoicing exceptions and unique customer situations while keeping other internal team members aware of the issues * Ensure Manual Recurring Invoices and Maintenance Invoices are processed timely and accurately * Process High Volume Daily Batch Invoicing * Process Returns and Rebills of incorrect invoices * Participate in special projects as assigned * Perform Month-End Close Procedures Your Background: * College Degree in a related field, finance, business or accounting preferred * Experience with high-volume invoicing preferred * Proficiency and demonstrated skill using Microsoft Excel * Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Access) * Working knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics) * Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to identify, anticipate and implement process improvements * Proven experience to thrive in a rapidly growing and changing organization * Excellent organization skills and attention to detail * Proven ability to work with multiple departments * Proven ability to investigate and audit information from multiple sources Why Star2Star: * We are the technology leaders in the new era of world-changing innovation for business communications.
