Litigation Paralegal

Sarasota law firm seeks full-time paralegal with a minimum of three (3) years' experience as a litigation paralegal to be part of our dynamic, employee and family-focused real estate law firm.

This position involves being the point-person for the law firm's representation of various timeshare associations throughout Southwest Florida and the associated delinquent timeshare maintenance accounts with an annual project that progresses from a demand phase through foreclosure sale of the timeshare unit.

This employee will be responsible for:

* Heavy client/owner interaction

* Moving cases forward to conclusion

* Handling the flow of paperwork

* Preparing and filing case documents for each matter with high quality and in a timely manner

* Calendaring deadlines, hearings and foreclosure sales, and

* Accurately communicating billing requirements to the accounting team.

* Have strong client service skills

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Have knowledge of E-recording and E-filing systems for the State of Florida

* Have knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure

* Be proficient with WordPerfect, Outlook, Word and other Microsoft Office programs

* Possess time management skills allowing the candidate to meet deadlines and work under time constraints

* Be able to consistently maintain a professional demeanor and appearance when communicating with delinquent timeshare unit owners and/or opposing counsel
