As a Radio Operator/Maintainer in the Army National Guard, you will ensure the functionality of these systems so that every mission ends in triumph. Job training for a Radio Operator/Maintainer consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.The National Guard is a unique element of the U.S. military that serves both community and country.
