We are looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager (APM) to join our team at one of our beautiful Sarasota properties! Candidates will be responsible for general and over-all administrative support for the Property Management Team. The APM will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to phone support, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, distribution of correspondence, etc. Maintains tenant, vendor, and property files in accordance with developed standards. Administers accounts payable and accounts receivable. Coding invoices, processing payments and inputting into accounting system. Initiate rent collections correspondence with tenants and prepares delinquency notices, as necessary. Works with the Property Manager (PM) to prepare and coordinate bid proposals and service contracts. Participates in performance oversight of all contractors for recurring and one-time services. Oversees tenant maintenance work order system. Performs regular inspections of the property including landscape and janitorial inspections or any other inspections as directed by the PM. Assists with budget preparation by researching costs for supplies, services and obtaining bids as directed by the PM. Assist with preparations of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Assist with preparation of invoices and related correspondence. Assist with preparation of meeting agendas, postings and producing minutes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Core Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable with use of other online based software programs. Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and exercise diplomacy Knowledge of business correspondence. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel. Work well in a team environment. Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities.

Experience:

Administrative experience: 3 years Property Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Details:

Full-time position, Monday through Friday On Call as necessary Salary $32,000 - $35,000 DOE
