Lumos Diagnostics has immediate openings for a Facilities Manager to join its Manufacturing team!

This position is a key role that is responsible for facility leadership responsible for the continuous safe operation, maintenance, aesthetic appearance, and GMP documentation of a product development facility and division headquarters. This position will partner with site stakeholders and leadership teams in a highly responsive, professional, and customer service-oriented manner with the objective to create value and efficiency when feasible.

Project management ranging from small modifications to complex, multi-phased projects.
Strategic space management for inter-office relocations, manufacturing, and R & D teams with the focus on maximizing footprint.
Responsible for planning, constructing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, building infrastructure, and other facility-related activities Generate all Facility related budgets and schedules for business operations & modifications including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs Proactively plan for facility-related emergencies and after-hours requirements for both the business and tenant needs by having physical resources, contractor partnerships, and communication strategies in place Continuously monitor and evaluate space requirements based on forecasted personnel and equipment, and coordinate building space allocations and layouts to efficiently meet all requirements Deliver routine services associated with general repair and maintenance of the facility, including drywall repair, painting, systems furniture modifications, lamp replacement, small plumbing repairs, various facility related tasks to support the business Provide management over contracted services related to facility support Housekeeping, Pest Control, HVAC maintenance, Landscaping, etc.
Provide routine on-call service as required.
Establish maintenance services through PMs as well as maintains records.
Develop and monitor facility operating and capital budget.
Oversee compliance of all company policies and procedures including Multi-Employer, safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices Hands-on working facility leader with the ability to provide supervision over contractors and a leadership presence amongst stakeholders Processes all in- and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping.
Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
Packs and labels products based on established standards.
Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped in the correct order.
Prepares to ship and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation.
Participates in scheduling daily transportation.
Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork.
Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
Assists in maintaining material inventory levels.
Assists in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments.
Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the shipping area.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


AS/BS degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years in facility management/supervision, preferably in the medical manufacturing field Strong professional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task with the understanding of priorities based on safety, business needs, and customer satisfaction.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and BMS (Building Management Systems) A comprehensive understanding of facilities management, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance programs Must have a strong background with building management systems, installation, upgrading, and maintaining heating and air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision Ability to develop and follow strategies for crisis management situations Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
