Job Description:

Front desk person must be willing to provide premiere service for the members, guests, vendors and any other individuals who enter the building by offering assistance, use of professional verbiage, and always make themselves available for the convenience of the Members.The Front Desk person works independently, and without direct supervision.-- Strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, is detailed orientated and able to multitask. They will be responsible for phones, meet, greet & direct residents/guests & reservations for the Country Club.-- Setup of reservations/billing for website, app, walk-ins, phone calls and follow through with the F&B Director & Executive Chef for final counts.-- Confirm with the department heads of the cost, time, head count, if non-members allowed, and if the reservation is an admin registration only.-- Work within Jonas, MembersFirst and Microsoft systems.-- Will also assist the Admin Assistant with any other office related work.--

  • Answers the telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate department
  • Takes all reservations either by phone or in person
  • Meet, greet & direct members/guests
  • Set up online billing and reservations
  • Confirm cost, beginning and end times, total head count, non-members allowed
  • Schedule food and beverage reservations via website
  • Check voicemail for reservations
  • Use reservation book for events that will not be online (i.e. Thanksgiving, Easter, food only and Private Events)
  • Maintains and monitors all online reservations
  • Communicates with Hostess on seating charts for dinners and events
  • Sends emails to those attending with reminders about cancelation policy
  • Responsible for sorting all incoming mail, distribution & outgoing mail
  • Orders and maintains all office supplies
  • Supports the Admin Assistant with other office related work (i.e. maintaining website, website calendar, flyers) Hours Monday through Friday 8:30AM 5:00PM Rate - $17 an hour Physical, cognitive, social and environmental requirements Ability to lift 30 50 lbs. Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.
