**Job Title:** Resident Care Aide**Location:** Cabot Cove of Largo -Assisted Living**Shift:** 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM**Employment Type:** Part-Time**Job Summary:**We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in a care facility, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.**Key Responsibilities:**- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.- Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff.- Help residents with mobility needs, including transferring and positioning in beds or chairs.- Serve meals to residents, assisting with feeding as necessary, and ensuring dietary preferences are respected.- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional health.- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and housekeeping standards.- Document care provided and any observations in residents' records accurately and timely.- Support residents in their personal hobbies and interests to encourage a positive living experience.- Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to ensure holistic care for residents.**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.- Prior experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living facility.- Understanding of elder care, hygiene practices, and resident rights.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.- Availability to work the designated shift consistently.**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to lift and move residents with appropriate techniques.- Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.- Ability to perform tasks that require physical stamina, such as lifting and assisting residents.**Benefits:**- Competitive pay- Flexible scheduling- Opportunity for career advancement- Ongoing training and professional development- Supportive work environment**How to Apply:**Interested candidates should submit their resume.
