Our expert physicians create cutting-edge treatment plans that best serve the needs of each individual and improve their quality of life.Responsibilities:Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with Integra Vascular's policies and proceduresPractices proper patient identification before proceeding with an examReview all supporting clinical informationEvaluate any contraindications, insufficient patient prep, and patients inability or unwillingness to tolerate the examinationUse proper patient positioning and equipment adjustments to ensure patient and sonographer comfort and safetyKnowledge of infectious diseases and the utilization of Universal PrecautionsPerform diagnostic medical sonography examinations placed by the ordering physician in accordance with Integra Vascular's ultrasound protocolsAcquires additional images when needed for optimal diagnostic resultsIdentifies and documents any limitations of the exam and prepares comments/findings at the end of the examDocuments any incidental findings that might impact patient safety or careMaintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAAAbility to troubleshoot issues or call for assistanceProperly cares for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issuesEstablishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care teamMaintains education and training in SonographyAll other duties as assigned by supervisor or direct managementQualifications:Prior Venous Insufficiency experience preferredRVT Certification preferredUltrasound CertificateCompetency in specialty area/s performed and ARDMS or CCI registryProficiency in computer skillsPACS and EMR experienceCommitted to professional growth and learningClean driving recordTravel requiredNot listed on the OIG exclusion listEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Venous Insufficiency: 1 year (Required)Sonography: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:BLS Certification (Required)Registered Vascular Technologist (Preferred)#INDSARby Jobble
