Description: Responsible To: Vice President - Quality, Analytics & Pharmacy OperationsStatement of Purpose: Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA/QIThe Program Analyst role is designed to maximize CAN programs, activity, program efficiency, and will also participate in contract management processes for regional programs. This position is also responsible for continuous improvement feedback for both internal QA/QI enhancements and program impact analysis. The Program Analyst position provides in-depth data & quality analytics, program optimization, reporting, financial, and other types of analysis under the direction of the Senior Vice President - Pharmacy Services and Vice President - Quality, Analytics & Pharmacy Operations.Primary Tasks: Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA/QI1. Work with internal departments and external partners, as needed, to collect data related to various Programs, and program QA/QI goals as approved by Leadership.2. Interpret data, analyze, and manage CANs grant related objectives and outcomes.3. Maintains data integrity of CAN programs to achieve maximum program opportunities4. Provide Program Analytics, including proactively highlighting monthly visibility into key activities and drivers impacting activity levels, and driving program effectiveness. Specific details may include: a. Ongoing monitoring of grant contract(s) b. Program Invoice reporting, evaluation, and outcomes c. Quantitative and qualitative analysis d. Provide logical framework of proposed program plan, objectives, outcomes, and goals (internal & external)5. Responsible for following CAN policies and procedures established by the organization, ensures compliance with security and privacy framework (PHI, HIPAA, etc.), and maintains confidentiality of sensitive data.6. Translates raw data into recommendations to improve program optimization7. Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to leadership and/or stakeholders.8. Collaborating with the Senior Quality Analyst and Pharmacy Data Analyst to ensure program QA/QI metrics are met9. Work collaboratively with CAN QA/QI personnel and effort includes participating in local CAN leadership team activities and meetings.10. Participate in regular contract manager meetings, calls, and trainings.11. Organizing and reporting monthly program analysis to identify trends and recommendations to improve program efficiency12. Developing short- and long-term goals that meet established objectives and participate in grant related audits (as needed).13. Constructs appropriate KPI metrics to review/assess areas of improvement.14. Applies comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform tasks and projects.15. May contribute to the development of policies and procedures.16. Ability to mine clinical data from various EMR systems and other identified systems (i.e., CAREWare, Provide Enterprise), while meeting and maintaining HIPAA standards and Policies and Procedures. This includes systems utilized in out-of-state partnerships as well.17. Promotes and practices CAN Community Health, Inc.s mission, values and follows policies.. Requirements: Skills and Abilities: Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA/QI1. High degree of attention to detail2. Demonstrates understanding of relational databases and data capture3. Strong knowledge of healthcare environment4. Experience working with Electronic Health/Medical Record (EMR/EHR systems) preferred.5. Experience and understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle.6. Must be advanced with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel (required).7. Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.8. Demonstrated problem solving, analysis, and resolution at strategic and functional levels.9. Proven customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.10. Functional understanding of online technology.11. Ability to travel for job-related activities as necessary.12. Good oral/written communication skills.13. Ability to utilize problem-solving and decision-making techniques.14. Knowledge and understanding of HIV and HIV Services, consumers and providers.15. Ability to function autonomously and as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.16. Effectively use reports, and other analytical tools to help target efforts for maximum program results.17. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements: Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA/QI1. Neat, professional appearance.2. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Requires expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word, visual and auditory acuity.Education/Professional: Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA/QI1. 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related area with transferable skills. 2.
