Role and Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
The Production Technician takes the necessary steps to ensure a
complete and quality product is delivered to the Final Quality
Audit workstation when stationed at the CSI Workstation. When
assigned to the Production Floor Duping Station the production
technician will be responsible for supporting the building of
simulators with calibrated and programmed hardware.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The production technician performs the duties and
responsibilities associated to two key areas supporting our
production team: the configuration station and production
support.
Configuration Station duties comprise the following:
* Management of Compound: Manage the product going through the long
term and short term compounds and coordinate with clinical
personnel to perform clinical audits and the configuration of
product.
* Review of Product documentation: Works directly with
manufacturing and the stock room to ensure all products are parts
complete per the sales order; Performs the configuration and
testing of computers; Completes In-Process Check Sheets when
configuring computers; Completes a configuration audit of the
products; Use of Deltek MRP system for lookup and review of BOM's,
SO's and Coordinate with manufacturing and final QC on shipment
priority to Sales Order Complete Que.
* Licensing of Product: Licenses Products per the Sales Order.
* SalesForce Documentation: Adds notes and closing cases in
SalesForce when working with Customer Support product.
Production Support duties comprise the following:
* Duplicate all boards and computers as required to support the
production cells; Calibrate various hardware as required to support
production cells; Complete In-Process Check Sheets where and when
required, assemble, test, and calibrate and hardware as required to
support assembly operation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Production Technician must have the following
skills/abilities:
* Understanding of computers for IP configuration with 2 years'
directly related work experience preferred.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Ability to exercise judgment and time management skills in
completing recurring assignments independently.
* Ability to make decisions and recommendations within established
guidelines and established procedures.
* Ability to efficiently accomplish assigned objectives with little
direct supervision.
* Ability to interface with internal and external customers at all
levels.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* Associate degree or technical certification in engineering
(electronics, robotics) or technical experience for at least 5
years doing troubleshooting, repair and/or assembly.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time for extended
periods of time with focused visual concentration and/or focused
listening.

* Dexterity and Ability to use/manipulate a variety of tools.
