Apply now to join a team of motivated individuals committed to harnessing science to produce products that make a difference in the environment and quality of life!Position Title: Forklift Operator– Penta FivePosition Description:The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that our products are packaged, stored, and moved safely and efficiently along with any other related warehouse duties. The Forklift Operator executes instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Production Manager, to coordinate day-to-day activities including, but not limited to: operating equipment, moving product throughout the facility, documentation, cleaning, and all other processes required by the workflow involving routine, standardized procedures in assigned shifts. Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
• Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Performing and obeying all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and Safety Rules, as well as maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Following all Company Quality policies, SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards and SOP's.
  • Preparing Company paperwork as assigned.
  • Must be able to work assigned shifts and be available for overtime and weekend work shifts, as required.
    • Assisting on various production lines as needed.
    • Performing other related duties as assigned. Education & Experience:
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Prefer prior experience in warehouse environments and/or manufacturing/production facilities.
      • Prior forklift certification preferred. Physical Requirements:All candidates must have the ability to:
        • Work longer hours than the typical 8 hours workday.
        • Regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands to fingers, lift, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch or crawl.
        • Lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
        • Exert up to 50 lbs. of force when moving boxes and other goods.
        • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
        • Demonstrate good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators and various machines.
        • Wear personal protective equipment correctly during the day as needed.
        • Work in a variety of environments both in a shop or outside in heat or cold temperatures.
        • Drive a vehicle with a State issued driver's license.
