In this role you will perform work in the analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of projects, processes, procedures and systems in order to provide GIS services to meet the needs of the County's business units, Constitutional Offices, and agencies. Apply today to become a member of this amazing team!Job Description:+ Assist and support with higher level GIS professionals with larger and more complex GIS projects+ Apply knowledge of GIS theory and concepts+ Perform GIS analyses utilizing a combination of spatial and tabular data+ Assist in the direction of GIS layer creation and maintenance+ Perform GIS layer maintenance utilizing advanced of technologies such as GPS+ Assist in the creation of geodatabase structures and schemas+ Provide technical assistance and guidance to Tier I personnel as requiredWork Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.About YouMinimum Qualifications+ Minimum of 5 years of documented and proven GIS experience. + OR- 2 Year Degree in related field and 3 year of documented and proven GIS experience. + OR- Bachelor's Degree in geography, geomatics, GIS or related field and one-year of documented and proven GIS experience. + OR- Master's Degree in geography, geomatics, GIS or related field Preferred Qualifications+ Proficient in updating and maintaining GIS data layers using versioned in a SDE database.+ Experience viewing/interpreting as-built Record Drawings and AutoCAD files (Viewer).+ Creation/editing of Utility (Potable, Reclaimed, Raw, Reject and Sanitary Sewer) assets.+ Utility Network editing, including the use of Feature Templates, Attribute Assistant, Water Network Editing and Reporting toolbars.+ Geometric Network and Utility Network editing in the versioned and branch versioning environments.+ Georeferencing.+ Familiar with domains and subtypes.+ Ability to create and maintain ArcGIS Online applications and maps (Dashboards, Story Maps, Experience Builder).+ Experience with ArcGIS ArcMap 10. +, ArcGIS Pro 2.8. +, ArcGIS Survey123 Connect, ArcGIS Suvery123, Collector for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Field Maps applications.About Everything ElsePay Range: $21.02- $28.76 hourlyEmployee Type:Regular (Budgeted)Benefits:+ Enjoy great benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Florida Retirement System (FRS) and many, many more! + For more information about employee benefits, please click this link or visit SCGov.net (https://www.scgov.net/government/human-resources/employee-health-and-benefits) for additional information.+ Utilize our award-winning wellness program including free gyms and classes at multiple Sarasota County Government locations. + Enjoy 11 paid holidays, 3 personal days and 16 paid vacation days in the first year of full-time employment with increasing accrual rates with years of service.
