The Role: As an RV Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing recreational vehicles (RVs) to ensure they are safe, functional, and in excellent condition for our customers. This role involves a combination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, making it essential to have a diverse skill set in order to succeed. You will work in a team-oriented environment to provide top-notch service and maintenance for a wide range of RVs, ensuring the satisfaction and safety of our clients.

Role Responsibilities:

Inspection and Diagnosis:

* Conduct thorough inspections of RVs to identify mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
* Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint problems and determine necessary repairs.
Repairs and Maintenance:

* Perform various repairs and maintenance tasks on RVs, including but not limited to engine repairs, electrical system troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and interior/exterior carpentry.
* Replace and repair RV appliances, fixtures, and components, such as air conditioning units, refrigerators, awnings, and more.
* Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Installation:

* Install new RV components and accessories, such as solar panels, generators, and entertainment systems.
* Safely handle propane systems and install or repair as needed.
Customer Communication:

* Communicate with customers to explain the repair process, provide cost estimates, and obtain necessary approvals.
* Keep customers informed about the progress of their RV service and address any questions or concerns.
Documentation:

* Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and work performed.
* Prepare and submit accurate service reports and invoices to customers.
Team Collaboration:

* Collaborate with other RV technicians, service advisors, and parts specialists to ensure efficient operations.
* Share knowledge and provide assistance to less experienced technicians.
Safety and Compliance:

* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of hazardous materials.
* Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in RV repair is a plus.
* Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a related field.
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Knowledge of RV systems, components, and appliances.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
