Bi-Lingual Case Manager - CERTAIN As a Bi-Lingual Case Manager for
the CERTAIN program at Family Resources Inc., you'll play a vital
role in shaping the future of youth and families in your community.
You will facilitate Success Workshops in schools, providing ongoing
case management services to those referred to the program.
Collaborating with school personnel, you'll identify the unique
needs of youth and connect them with essential resources. Your
responsibilities will include conducting home visits to assess
barriers to school attendance, monitoring compliance with truancy
court recommendations, and making necessary referrals to
specialized services. Keeping thorough and accurate records will be
essential, as will participating in Case Staffing Committee
meetings and attending Truancy Court hearings. With flexible
evening hours, this position will require you to engage actively in
the community, and your bi-lingual skills will be invaluable as you
assist with translating services, ensuring all families receive the

cultural awareness. A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work,
or a related field, along with at least two years of experience
working with youth and families, is essential. You must demonstrate
strong organizational and communication skills, both written and
verbal, to effectively navigate complex issues and foster
meaningful relationships with individuals from varied cultural and
ethnic backgrounds. Your ability to show respect and acceptance
regarding differences in sexual orientation and gender identity
will be critical. Sound judgment and professionalism are necessary
in fulfilling your responsibilities, as is the ability to
collaborate harmoniously with management. A valid Florida driver’s
license, clean driving record, and personal cellular phone are
required to maintain effective service delivery. Bilingual
proficiency in English and Spanish is a must to ensure
comprehensive support for all clients. Knowledge and skills
required for the position are: Must demonstrate awareness and
acceptance of cultural differences of clients, staff, and community
contacts. Must have the ability to develop and maintain effective
working relationships with individuals from a variety of cultural
and ethnic backgrounds including clients, staff, and professional
and community persons. Must demonstrate awareness and acceptance of
clients related to sexual orientation and gender identity issues.
Must possess excellent organizational skills along with
well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the
ability to effectively deal with complex issues. Must maintain a
high degree of professionalism and reliability within areas of
responsibility. Should possess characteristics that show sound
judgment in fulfilling position duties and responsibilities as well
as a cooperative attitude in working relationships with senior
members of management. Must have valid Florida Driver's License and
auto insurance for personal vehicle and a clean driving history.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with emphasis in
areas of psychology, social work or related field. A minimum of two
years' experience working with youth and their families. Must be
bilingual (English/Spanish). Must be able to speak, read and write
English and Spanish fluently. Demonstrated capacity to provide case
management services. Ability to develop and maintain effective
working relationships with individuals from a variety of cultural
and ethnic backgrounds. Must demonstrate awareness and acceptance
of cultural differences of clients, staff and community contacts.
Possess a personal cellular phone for use in accordance with agency
policy and procedures. Must have a clear driving record, valid
driver's license, and current automobile insurance. Background
compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
